Hotels
We have blocks of rooms at 3 separate hotels until August 1. We are still building this and the other pages, so please check back. In the meantime, here is the hotel info that was included in your invitation.
These rates at last check were much better than published rates, but we also encourage you to check AAA, AARP or any other discounts you may be entitled to.
Homewood Suites, a Hilton Property, $119/night
350 Rocky Run Parkway Wilmington, DE 19803
All Rooms are suites. Rate includes breakfast each morning and access to the JCC, which is less than a mile away. Property has outdoor heated pool.

Doubletree by Hilton, $99/night
4727 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803
This property has an indoor pool, but has been going through renovations over the summer. If you decide to stay here, you may want to contact the hotel directly to find out what the status will be in September.

Courtyard by Marriot, downtown Wilmington - $89/night, King $99/night, 2 queens
1102 N West St, Wilmington, DE 19801
Closest to Synagogue, but not much to do downtown. It is within walking distance of synagogue.
For reservations call 800.321.2211 and reference the Julia's Bat Mitzvah Room Block at the Downtown Wilmington Courtyard by Marriott.
There is also a Courtyard by Marriott property and a hotel called the Inn at Wilmington that is in the same complex as the Homewood Suites. Both have an address of Rocky Run Parkway. These two properties have some better rates on their website than they were willing to offer with a block of rooms, so we did not reserve a block. The Inn at Wilmington serves a limited free breakfast, but does not have a pool. Check to see if they have AAA rates available if you choose to stay at this property. One of our guests was able to book a room at $84 and change a night with AAA.
The 19803 properties are next to or across from the Concord Mall that has a Macy's and other stores as well as a Barnes & Noble.
Car Rentals
If you have a Costco membership card, we recommend visiting the Costco Travel website and seeing how much a rental car is with their discount. Some of our guests have found 3 day rentals for under $100 after taxes. The Costco website automatically applies and discounts any coupons you may be entitled to as a member.
Airports/Airlines
The New Castle, DE (ILG) airport is right here in Wilmington. Frontier Airlines is the only commercial airline that flies into Wilmington. Frontier has limited flights, but may be less money than flying into Philadelphia or Baltimore.
The Philadelphia (PHL) airport is about a 20 minute ride without traffic. Wilmington, DE is South of PHL via I-95.
The Baltimore (BWI) airport is about an hour and 20 minute ride without traffic. Wilmington, DE is North of BWI via I-95.
There is an Amtrak station in Wilmington if you care to arrive via train.
